Yangxi County (simplified Chinese: 阳西县; traditional Chinese: 陽西縣; pinyin: Yángxī Xiàn) is a coastal county in the southwest of Guangdong Province, China, facing the South China Sea to the south. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yangjiang. The county has a total area of 1,271 km2 (491 sq mi), and 126.6 km (78.7 mi) of coastline.[citation needed]
