Yi Gang (Chinese: 易纲; pinyin: Yì Gāng) (born 5 March 1958) is a Chinese economist who served as the governor of the People's Bank of China from 2018 to 2023,[1] vice governor of the People's Bank of China from 2007 to 2018, director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange from 2009 to 2015, and assistant governor of the People's Bank of China from 2004 to 2007.[2]
