Yona of the Dawn (Japanese: 暁のヨナ, Hepburn: Akatsuki no Yona)[a] is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mizuho Kusanagi. It has been serialized in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume since August 2009, with its chapters collected in 44 tankōbon volumes as of June 2024. It is set in an East Asian fantasy world, notably a fictional kingdom called Kouka, which made up of various regions and tribes, and also draws significant elements from both Korean and Chinese cultures. It follows Princess Yona, who flees her home after a coup d'état and embarks on a journey to save her kingdom.
A 24-episode anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired between October 2014 and March 2015.
