Yossi Sheffi (born April 10, 1948) is the Elisha Gray II Professor of Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He founded or co-founded five companies, has authored numerous scientific publications and nine books.[1]

He obtained his BSc from the Technion in Israel in 1975, his SM from MIT in 1977, and PhD from MIT in 1978. He now resides in Boston, Massachusetts.[2]
