Yusmeiro Alberto Petit (Spanish pronunciation: [ʝusˈmejɾo peˈtit]; born 22 November 1984) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics. In 2014, Petit retired 46 consecutive batters to set a new Major League record. He throws right-handed.
