District in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia
Ziminsky District (Russian : Зими́нский райо́н ) is an administrative district, one of the thirty-three in Irkutsk Oblast , Russia .[ 1] Municipally , it is incorporated as Ziminsky Municipal District .[ 5] The area of the district is 7,000 square kilometers (2,700 sq mi).[citation needed ] Its administrative center is the town of Zima [ 2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[ 1] Population: 13,383 (2010 Census ) ;[ 3] 14,420 (2002 Census );[ 7] 15,833 (1989 Soviet census ) .[ 8]
